1990 Fender '70s Reissue Stratocaster Natural MIJ

Up for sale is a 1990 Fender ‘70s Reissue Stratocaster in a classic Natural finish, crafted in Japan during the highly regarded MIJ era. These guitars are known for their exceptional build quality, vintage accuracy, and reliability—often rivaling or exceeding their American counterparts from the same period.

This model captures the iconic 1970s Strat aesthetic with its large headstock, bullet truss rod, and three-bolt neck plate. The natural finish shows off the wood grain beautifully and gives it that timeless, broken-in look.

Very good for its age. Shows some honest play wear—light dings, surface scratches, and minor finish wear consistent with a 30+ year-old instrument, but nothing that affects playability or structural integrity. Neck is straight and frets have plenty of life left.

Plays great with comfortable action. The neck has that smooth, broken-in feel MIJ Fenders are known for. Tonally, it delivers everything you’d expect from a Strat—glassy highs, punchy mids, and that unmistakable quack in positions 2 and 4.

MIJ Fenders from this era are becoming increasingly sought after for their craftsmanship and vintage-correct specs. This is a great option for players and collectors alike who want vintage style without vintage pricing.
