Handcrafted "vintage" instrument that has stood the test of time and is ready to deliver for a long time to come.
Body length 35.8 centimeters, string length 32.8 centimeters.
Back is formed from one-piece medium wide curly maple. Sides are made from narrow curly maple. The scroll is carved from light narrow curly maple. The top is shaped from two pieces of medium wide grained spruce.
Color of the varnish is of a light orange-red color on a golden ground.
The condition of the instrument is very good, playable. A basic set-up including bridge, sound post, and strings is all that is recommended.
Includes a vintage hardshell case. Also included are 2 violin bows. A wooden bow valued at $200, and a carbon fiber bow valued at $100.
The violin's value is $3,500 based on a written appraisal by a master violin maker.
